This scholarship is designed for Haitian students who have migrated to the US as a result of the insecurity caused by gang violence and political upheaval amidst their higher education or professional path. Because of their status, they are not eligible for financial aid. Many are interested in becoming a truck driver, forklift operator, CNA or any program that can set them on the path to success. This scholarship is designed to support immigrant students who are not eligible for FAFSA and wish to pursue higher education.
Requirements:
- Proof of residency in Clark County, Ohio
- Proof of Immigration Status
- Letter of Intent to Study
